Let Your Yes Be Yes and Your No Be No

Say the word “yes” right now to yourself.  Yes.  That vibration is what we get when we are excited about helping people, or healing, which is what many would say we are born to do.  What happens is we get out of balance when we say yes too often or want to help too much.
No is a very powerful tool in setting boundaries.  And, who doesn’t want better boundaries?  One of the ways to create this magical state is to learn to say “no.”  Think of the situations in your life right now where perhaps you’ve been saying yes too much.  This may give you a feeling in the pit of your stomach or a feeling in your gut that is asking you to do the opposite. This vibration may cause you to start thinking, “Hmmmm, maybe I should say no.” Maybe spirit or my highest self is asking you to say no for the sake of yourself and everyone else.
If we don’t have respect and boundaries for ourselves as empaths, we’re not going to be much help to others.  I encourage you to make a pledge to yourself that you are no longer going to do _____ (whatever your gut is saying you’re doing too much of).  For some if may be as simple as refusing to engage someone in a 5-minute conversation—maybe they are asking you for some kind of advice.  This is real common, we all have co-workers, loved ones, family, and friends who call upon us because we have healing ability.  People are for the most part naturally drawn to empaths. We’re magnetic and people want our energy or input.
It might be as simple as just saying “no” and walking away from a 2- to 5-minute conversation. You know that those 5-minute conversations can attack your nervous system. Many develop chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia. These diseases in which are energetic origin and manifest in many empaths as the result of over engagement.  When we perpetually over engage, our nervous systems shut down over time. It tries to protect us by shutting the chakras or meridians so we don’t take on too much. It’s attempting to slow us down. It’s important that you listen to your gut and learn to say no.
