Do You Let People Drain Your Energy?

I was one who was an intercessor in the church and you can imagine the stuff I picked up praying for people. It almost killed me before I realized what was happening. If you are walking through the supermarket when all of a sudden you start feeling really sad or angry that’s not your stuff. You don’t have to carry that. You can simply visualize a hose sucking that detrimental energy out of you and your aura into a ball. Then imagine you are tossing that ball into the air while asking Saint Germaine to transmute it with the violent flame. It’s that simple and it happens immediately.

Now if you get a bad hit, say from somebody who is trying to drain your energy, you may suddenly start feeling sick, depressed, or angry. You don’t have to take that kind of abuse. If somebody was trying to break into your house you wouldn’t just stand there and open the door for them. You would barricade it, call the cops, or do whatever you needed to keep out the intruder. When you say NO to psychic vampires who are leeching off your energy, you are setting a boundary and saying, “This is my space, my stuff, and you stay out of it.” If people are trying to leech off your energy or trying to drain you or toss their sickness onto you, it’s just as rude as them coughing on you intentionally while knowing they have a virus. So you would stop that, wouldn’t you? Well, you can do the same thing energetically when somebody is trying to siphon from you. Talk to them and their guides spirit to spirit by imagining them sitting in front of you. Or write a letter and then burn it without giving it to them. This sets an energetic boundary and is very effective because we are one in spirit and we can speak to one another without having a conflict in person (or by phone, email, etc.) Everything is energy and what we’re learning is the right use of energy. Incorrect use of energy would be allowing it to drain you.

Many empaths go into the health care industry or are caregivers, who are among the sick and suffering all the time. Without proper education on how to manage energy, these precious souls burn out quickly; it can be extremely draining. How did Jesus, as an empath, manage to stay strong while in the midst of the sick and the outcast of society? How can you control how much of your energy you give away in these kinds of situations?

What was Jesus doing when he was not with his disciples or when he wasn’t with the crowds or teaching? The Bible says over and over again that he was praying. There’s the key, the spiritual connection. Jesus knew that he was one with God—a divine individuation of God, just as we are. Even though he knew this, he also realized he had to maintain his connection in the midst of all the distractions and the sickness and suffering around him. He knew that his success was in his spiritual purification processes and his prayer effort that enhanced his divine connection. He had to keep that line open at all times in order to know the will of God in each situation. That’s his example to us; it’s a gift. Anytime we are feeling out of sync or feeling drained it’s an indication or a message that we need to pray or do some deep breathing, go for a walk in nature, or do something to pull away from the crowd and connect with Spirit.
