Based on a presentation given by Gini Grey during “Empaths Shifting into 2012: A Telesummit to Help Energy-Sensitive People Understand Their Spiritual Role on Earth” on September 6, 2011.
What an important and exciting time we’re in right now. I think anyone who’s sensitive to energy is feeling this rapid shift in consciousness. Carl Calleman’s work about the Mayan calendar is comforting because as we keep shifting into a new day and night in the cycle of the Mayan calendar, we can better understand why we’re feeling a certain way, and know what is what’s going on.
The Mayan calendar was created by the Mayan civilization that shows how consciousness is evolving. You can look at the timeline in terms of when species were first on the planet, let’s say in the water, or amphibians or whatever, and how that took millions of years to evolve. And then to land-dwelling animals, and how long it took to evolve to Neanderthals and then to Homo Sapiens and then how they evolved from tribes into nations—all these different levels and ages are marked on the calendar. We’re still evolving as a human species on the planet, but we’re evolving spiritually. Everything’s evolving in the cosmos as well. The Mayan calendar has a timeline of when the next shift is and it is marked for December 21, 2012.
In March 2011 we moved into the final level of consciousness according to the Mayan calendar, which is the ninth level. It’s moving beyond the 3rd dimension into the 5th dimension, or moving beyond duality into oneness where we simply experience, where everything just is, where we’re not caught up on what is right and wrong and good and bad. Instead, we’re blending the use of our brain’s right and left hemispheres.
This final shift is happening quickly. About every 36 days something shifts whereas prior to March it was about once a year that things were shifting. Prior to 1998 or 1999 things would shift about every 19 years. So that just shows you how our bodies are having to adapt to this fast shift in consciousness in which we’re raising our vibration, letting go of what’s not us, and bringing in more light. But that can cause a lot of turmoil. The planet is going through its own shifting process as well, so there’s natural disasters happening, financial collapses, social and government systems breaking down in order for us to create something new. It may look bad, but it’s actually just part of a natural evolution in which something crumbles before we evolve into our next level.
We’ve been evolving since the beginning of time on this planet, and now we’re going to another level of evolution. People who are empathic are sensitive to this energy, so we feel everything that’s happening. I’ve been feeling it quite intensely these past few months.
I’d like to offer a basic foundational tool that’s important to remember right now. If you’ve been around this blog for long, you may already know what it feels like to be centered and what it feels like to be not centered. You may already be using these tools, but I’d like to reintroduce them to help you feel balanced as we’re going through these shifts.
When you’re centered in your body and in your spiritual being, you are aware of who you are, and you are in charge of what’s going on around you. When we’re not centered, that’s when we’re easily pushed around by the chaotic energies in the world. Some people are not handling the energy shift or turmoil very well, and this creates more disturbance in the earth’s energy and field of collective human thoughts.
First, I want you to close your eyes and take three deep cleansing breaths. Let go of any distractions about the day, and simply be present in this moment. Now, move your focus into the center of your head where you pineal gland is located a few inches back from your forehead. Notice what it feels like when you do this. Did you start to relax? From this centered place, touch into your “bigness” and say hello to yourself as a spiritual being. This place is also known as your sixth chakra, which you use for clairvoyance; it allows you to see clearly from a higher perspective. When you are centered and focused on this area, you are less judgmental and less reactive to the craziness going on around you. You are able to think more clearly than you might if you were in your analyzer mode or not aware of your body. When centered, you are able to interact with people spirit-to-spirit; in other words, you can see the spirit of someone and look beyond their behavior, body, or personality and see the bright light within them.
In my next post on this blog, we will pick up with Gini Grey’s grounding technique. Get the full transcription and MP3 audio of Gini’s and Kate Garvey’s presentation at http://weare1inspirit.com/spiritual-audios.htm#Kate
