Virtual Book Tour Week Three

Hello, WITS Community!

Week three of my virtual blog tour is now history. I visited five more blogs and presented all new material that I believe you writers and creative types will appreciate. Here are the links to the blogs in case you want to catch up on your reading and listening.

Monday, March 14 - An empath is a "feeler," and we usually know when we've reached our limit. If the emotional burden of another person or situation becomes too great, we can pull away without being hateful, angry, or upset. It is an essential act of self preservation that must be utilized. Soulmate Coach Crystal shared more in an article that gives examples on how empaths can detach politely before becoming overwhelmed by a situation or person's energy. http://www.soulmatecoachcrystal.blogspot.com/

Tuesday, March 15 - What inspired you to write this book? When did you first consider yourself a writer? Do you write full-time? If so, what's your work day like? If not, what do you do other than write and how do you find time to write?" These are some of the questions Lisa Jackson asked me to answer in our interview. Go to http://lisahaseltonsreviewsandinterviews.blogspot.com and find out what my most interesting writing quirk is!

Wednesday, March 16 - Emotions such as fear, anger, and frustration are energies. Like a virus, energy-sensitive people can potentially "catch" them from people without realizing it. Empathic people can be psychic sponges that absorb energy everywhere they go. Pat Bertram shared an article, " Stories from an Empath," on Dragon My Feet: http://dragonmyfeet.wordpress.com

Thursday, March 17 - Babies absorb the mental and emotional energy of the people around them. They don't filter anything; they simply receive. As a child ages, this empathic tendency may increase and get out of control. Some children pick up the emotions, energy, or thoughts of others to the degree that it becomes overwhelming and interrupts the development of their social and emotional life. Read the article Elizabeth Bennett posted: "Empathy in Children and Teens" on http://peerabuse.blogspot.com

"I truly love this book by Yvonne Perry and wish someone had written it years ago when I was in my mid-20s and early 30s when I found myself taking on the burdens of so many of those around me," says Barbara Techel. "This book has reaffirmed that there is nothing wrong with me. Chapter 9 is my favorite because it is filled with wonderful advice to help empaths protect their energy. I'm so thankful to Yvonne for writing this book! Barbara shared a YouTube video about how having too much empathy can drain an energy-sensitive person. http://www.joyfulpaws.com

Friday, March 18 - Are you sensitive to the events that are occurring in the world today? Do graphic and violent movies or TV shows impact you negatively? Do you become exhausted simply dealing with the events affecting individuals around you, whether you know them or not?  You may be an empath! Find out in Barbara Joye's interview on Creative Cafe Radio Show: www.blogtalkradio.com/shiftguru. In this show, The Angelic Realm addresses the challenges of being an empath in this time in history.
