For the first forty years of my life I was enmeshed with the dogma of a fundamentalist religion and lived according to the interpretation of the Bible that my family, society, and the church passed down to me. I was manifesting the spiritual gifts outlined in I Corinthians 12, but no one in our church seemed to believe in the gifts, much less could they help me develop them.
I’ll quote the New International Version of I Corinthians 12: 1-11 for those who are not familiar with this scripture. There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit.
There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men.
Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he gives them to each one, just as he determines.
Empaths have psychic abilities or spiritual gifts referred to as clairsentience (physical or gut feeling or a “knowing”), clairvoyance (seeing visions) or clairaudience (hearing voices). There is really no difference between these three; they are products of intuition or empathy. The only difference is in how the brain decides to process the information.

I am so grateful to have come across your site and have found so many explanations for alot of things that I struggle with as an Empath. I thought there was something wrong with me, because the popular grounding/shielding techniques have never worked. I will purchase your book & look forward to some relief!
ReplyDeleteOne question I have is why do Empaths have to transmute (I understand how now as per your explanation with St. Germaine's assistance) energies after they learn how to establish their energetic boundaries? Why don't others who have different psychic gifts have to transmute energies as well? What is the purpose of this? Perhaps the answer lies in your book?
