How to Tell if You Are Ascending

We have just passed 12-12-12, which was a numerically significant date. Anytime we see double or triple digits it can be a sign to us that something noteworthy is occurring. We have also heard some pretty scary things about Dec. 21, 2012. I have absolutely no concern that anything horrible is going to happen to our planet as a result of some galactic event—I believe we will wake up on Dec 22 and realize we have only two days left to finish our holiday shopping. As the eternal optimist, I hold the intention that if anything at all happens, it will be a perceivable and positive shift in how we love ourselves and treat others.

What are Ascension Symptoms?

Ascension symptoms might include anxiety or panic attacks, body sensations, or a change of relationship or careers. We may be experiencing creativity or energy surges; some of us are decluttering, detoxing, and simplifying our lives because we realize that we just don’t need so much stuff. Old things just don’t have the meaning that they once did. And we are more interested in participating in our spiritual evolution than we are in accumulating a lot of goods.

Other ascension symptoms that other people have reported are depression and a loss of interest in things once held a lot of value to them, a desire for freedom—we see this in occupy Wall Street with those who desire to be out from under the oppressing rule of the powers that be. People are experiencing a change in dietary preferences, and some may have embraced a huge switch in personality. Some empaths may be experiencing electric disturbances; they may walk up to a computer and all of a sudden there’s an electronic disturbance coming from the high cosmic frequency on earth now.

People are experiencing fatigue and headaches, heart palpitations, even hot flashes, and I’m not talking about just menopausal women. Even men are having hot flashes as kundalini energy arises. Some people exhibit increased emotional responses, and note that their intuition and psychic gifts are increasing.

Miraculous healings are occurring as we better understand how energy works. We may find a change in our libido because we are seeing our sexual energy as sacred energy and something to be held in high esteem rather than just going wherever the pleasure leads us. Our mental thoughts are changing. We may even have ringing in the ears or other auditory sensations like hearing voices. We are receiving inspirations from another dimension. People are having insomnia or their sleep patterns are changing. They are having a lot of dreams. Some people are reporting that issues are being revisted or healed at a deeper level. We are seeing a vision, our psychic vision as well as our physical vision opening up to more perception. We are sensing a more joyful attitude even in the midst of chaos. Many of us feeling young or seem to have a spirit of youthfulness or playfulness. Some symptoms are good things and others are a little unpleasant but all are a part of the shift or signs of ascension.
