Helping Empaths See Themselves as Empowered Beings of Light

Today we continue to talk about the role forgiveness plays in becoming a clear, clean vessel that purer frequencies of light can shine through us. Forgiveness helps resolve karma and allows the light of our higher selves to manifest.
I realize there are some abusive situations that are difficult to forgive—in fact, it is impossible for the ego to forgive anything or let go of an offense. Only by allowing Spirit/Source—your truest self—to address the situation can forgiveness be complete. True forgiveness is not overlooking the “bad” in a person; it is about letting go of anything that keeps you from experiencing peace of mind. This means giving up “attack” thoughts and not taking things personally or projecting your expectations onto others. It means not seeing yourself as a victim, who has been attacked, abandoned, betrayed, or misunderstood.
On my YouTube channel you will find a video titled “Why God Cannot Forgive.” Direct link: http://youtu.be/XqsweQTe71A .
Deny the ego by recognizing your oneness with Spirit/Source and others. This is not something we can grasp intellectually. We must allow Spirit/Source into our awareness over and over until love becomes a real experience. You may have to do this repeatedly just as many times as you replayed the old tape.
When you are centered in Love and Light, you can simply observe the behavior of others and recognize that another person is behaving because of something going on in his or her mind; it has nothing to do with you. You can then decide to be around this person/behavior or not.
Remaining in an uncomfortable or dangerous situation is self-torture, not forgiveness. Your choice to no longer associate with this person is a miracle, not a failure! A miracle shifts your mind toward peace, and away from conflict. Forgiveness and peace show up as a result of your choice to take care of yourself by avoiding an abusive person. You cannot expect the abusive person to change his ways. A miracle always occurs in your mind; therefore, a change of mind is all that is needed to bring you peace.
Will you change your mind about seeing yourself as a victim?
I mentioned being centered in Love and Light. Tomorrow, I’ll walk you through an exercise to help you understand how to do this.

This blog post is from a presentation given by Yvonne Perry during the telesummit, Empaths Shifting into 2012. “There Are No Victims” is intended to help empaths release the victim mentality imprinted in their cellular memory, forgive those they see as abusers, move beyond past experiences, and become empowered to help the Earth and humanity shift into purer planes of consciousness.
