There is No Such Thing as End of Time

Everything is part of a cyclical process. Even when we’re talking about the end of life and astrological cycles, these are man-made cycles.

Yet, we have heard that the Mayan calendar is coming to a close. We’ve got prophecies from the Bible and Nostradamus and people everywhere talking about the end times. It’s all over the Internet. Even one newscaster made a statement to effect that “if we’re still here after December 21, 2012 …” Unfortunately, we have a lot of fear encircling this date.

This date is actually leading us toward a very harmonious shift into something wonderful and grand. But, we have got to get past the fear-based, doomsday, catastrophic mindset regarding it in order to see the beauty of this special time and help facilitate the shift. That’s what Yvonne’s latest book is about—how to help facilitate that shift within yourself and let that flow from you to help others to make that change as well.

We are awakening spiritually to our truth that we are divine beings. There is no ending for the soul. We are all one. There’s really no separateness. We are many and we are one. We may have individual personalities, but we are still connected by spirit, even by the breath that we breathe. The air that we breathe is shared universally across the world.

We are still connected, and I think that’s one reason why we are feeling so much of the shift—the pain and sorrow of others as well as the ecstatic joy of entering into a new phase of human development. We’re leaving old things behind and we’re moving into beautiful spiritual truths and living more authentically. We’re opening to more spiritual gifts and miracles. We’re already seeing people become more telepathic in communicating with one another. We’ve seen more gifts of healing demonstrated. These are precursors to what’s coming next.

There are going to be some shifts that we have to go through but there are ways to make it easier. One thing is to stop resisting change and begin to flow with Spirit in allowing your own healing and transformation to take place. I encourage you to get into your heart space, into that centered place within you where love abides and you feel at home. There, you feel a connection with the creator, or God—whatever you want to call that creative energy. To be at one with the I AM Presence brings phenomenal peace regardless of what’s going on or what changes are taking place outside of you. Soon you will begin to radiate such love and joy, peace and light from within your heart center, that it has an effect on your outer world. That’s because our inner world affects our outer world. I think the most important about this shift is that we are awakening from within.

Being Empathic As a Child

Are you an empath? Do you feel other people’s emotions and their pain? On a more positive note, you may also feel their great joy when your heart opens up to someone next to you. Helping other people realize they have similar empathic experiences and how to use it to their benefit is very rewarding.

When Sheryl Glick was my guest on We Are One in Spirit Podcast, she spoke about empaths and spiritual gifts. I’ll share a few highlights from that interview here and you may listen to the entire interview at http://dld.bz/bqFzj.

Yvonne: Sheryl was an empath as a child, but was not aware of it. Her father, who is a doctor, was not aware of the depth of Sheryl’s sensitivity and neither were the teachers and medical people who dealt with her. So they only considered her to be a bright sensitive child. They thought she would outgrow the stomachaches, the anxious frightened feelings that she expressed to them on a regular basis. This discomfort she often experienced was not her own discomfort. She was very sensitive to the energy around her and to other people. Now that she knows how to work with it she helps herself and other people to be healthy, vibrant, and to use this as a spiritual gift to make people more comfortable with who they are. This great talent.

Sheryl: It’s a great gift from spirit. Some people will say it’s not because they don’t want to feel uncomfortable. But it’s a great way to learn about the world and yourself through having heightened senses and feelings. We’re here on this earth to have an emotional experience and to learn more about ourselves. We can’t always just feel the good feelings; sometimes we have to feel challenging experiences and energies so we can learn how to balance those energies and balance our physical life with it. Our soul and spiritual life become mature—we are both physical beings and spiritual beings.

Yvonne: Whether we realize it or not, we are constantly working with energy. If you are an empath, you are energy sensitive. The reason this is so draining and you feel so much discomfort is because you have not learned how to work with energy. Perhaps you’ve not learned how to use your upper chakras, like the six chakra (the third eye) or seventh chakra (cosmic input), to receive a picture rather than receiving sensory input in your body. Once you learn how to work with your upper chakras, you will not take so much into your second (sacral) and third (emotional) energy centers. You will be using your upper chakras and the information will be coming from source rather than from the person who is leaking or siphoning energy.

Sheryl: Let me give a little example about working with the lower chakras. When I was in college I went to the San Gennaro Fair in New York City. At this Italian festival there were so many people. All of a sudden my heart started to palpitate. I felt anxious in my stomach. I felt heavy in my legs. I felt pressure on my head. I said “What is this? Why am I feeling like this? This is a wonderful place.”

There was so many people, so many emotions—some happy, some angry, some fearful, some straining to buy something, someone making decisions—and it was just too much energy coming in for me at that point because I had no protection. I now know how to protect myself and help others to protect themselves in any situation. I could now go to that place without having a negative impact again because I know how to handle my own energy and the energy of other people. At that time I didn’t know what that was all about.

I’m sure there are many people listening today who have these sensitivities and think they are a hypochondriac perhaps, or they think there is something wrong with them. There’s nothing wrong with them. They are just very gifted people. Sensitives who have the need to develop this connection from Spirit can develop on all levels. Perhaps they can go from being an empath to an intuitive to a healer to a psychic and a medium because all these spiritual gifts are available to all of us. If we work and grow ourselves instead of blaming others and focusing on what other people are doing. We concentrate on learning more about what makes us vibrant and happy and fulfilled in this life.

Why Do Some People Have The Gift of Empathy?

Recently I was asked if being able to feel so much as an empath has such damaging side effects why is it called a gift?
The true purpose of this gift is for humans to be able to transform detrimental energy into beneficial energy and keep the planet in balance. If we continuously live aligned with our ego instead of our higher self, we have a problem. Rather than transmuting negative energy and allowing it to flow through us, we absorb it and it sticks to and combines with lower vibrating frequencies (anger, resentment, shame, guilt, codependency, etc) that we have within us. Thus, we collect stuff in our field, which can cloud our judgment, cause mood swings, and even make us physically sick. Many times the fields of empaths are so cluttered they are unable to identify or separate their own energy from that of another person.

You’ve been around being who spread cheer or “light up a room” so to speak. If an empath is clear and living in alignment with spirit/higher self, they are filled with Love and Light, and can act as a filter. Any detrimental energy around them is automatically transmuted and darkness is exposed as an illusion of the ego. The unwanted energy moves through in the auric field and subtle bodies a non-resistant manner. If any low-vibrating energy does gets stuck, the trained empath can quickly clear it before it become a problem.

From birth to death to afterlife, we are mysteriously connected. Because we are connected, everything we think, say, or do affects all of humanity and ultimately our planet. The awakened empath who employs a practice leading toward spiritual ascension will find their intuition stronger and more reliable. Most empaths also have some healing abilities that become keener as the gift is developed. Without even realizing it, a conscious and clear empath is constantly releasing the karma of others by bringing in and anchoring higher frequencies in the Earth plane.
